Jason Longden

Jason Longden

Chief Executive Officer

Jason Longden has been with Fine Choice Foods since March 2020 and was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of Silver Hills and Garden Protein International. Jason’s other roles have included Vice President of Operations at Pineridge Bakery, 10 years at Maple Leaf Foods where he held the senior positions of Operations Manager of the Calgary Bakery, VP Operations and Technical Controller for Maple Leaf Bakery UK. During a career spanning 32 years in the food industry, Jason has been instrumental in the leadership of business turnarounds and multimillion-dollar plant start-ups in both Europe and North America. In addition, he has been a keynote speaker at several industry conferences on the topics of leadership, food safety, and health and safety. Jason also served as Board Chair for the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC.

Colin McGlenister

Colin McGlenister has been with Fine Choice Foods since August 2020 and was formerly the Chief Financial Officer for Two Rivers Specialty Meats and Vice President, Finance for PBF Pita Bread Factory. Colin has over 21 years of experience in manufacturing and operations finance. The past 16 years have specifically been in the food industry, having worked for other local companies such as Snack Alliance/Nalley’s Canada, Terra Breads, and Garden Protein International. Colin has extensive knowledge and experience working with high-growth, private equity-backed, organizations.

Emily Tang

Chief Innovation Officer

Emily Tang has grown up being in the food industry with her family founding the company in 1986. Her career started in consumer-packaged goods where she spent 10 years with IKEA honing her skills in PR and Marketing. When the opportunity arose to help grow the family business, it was something she could not resist. She initially spent her time in Sales & Marketing managing and brought year-over-year growth that was never seen by the company. Her passion and sensibility for food trends were what led her to her role today where she leads the R&D and Marketing streams. She is the longest-serving leader in the team and brings a tremendous amount of historical experience to the organization.

George Maksym

SVP of Operations

George Maksym has been with Fine Choice Foods since March 2020 and was formerly an operations consultant in the role of VP Operations of Voortman’s Bakery in Burlington, Ontario. Before Voortman Bakery, George worked for forty-two years at Canada Bread / Maple Leaf Foods, holding senior positions that included Director of Finance for manufacturing, Operations Manager and VP Operations for Olivieri Pasta. As VP of Manufacturing Optimization at Maple Leaf Foods, George headed up a Manufacturing Project to consolidate three Fresh Bakery facilities in Ontario into Canada’s largest commercial bakery in Hamilton, Ontario.

Raj Dhillon has been with Fine Choice Foods since July 2020 and was formerly with Vibrant Health Products as their Director of Procurement for 5 years. Previous to that Raj spent 20 years working for The Original Cakerie, where he worked many roles including In-side sales, human resources, inventory control, warehouse/logistics and procurement. Skilled in leadership, business management, strong vendor/carrier relationship management and customer service, Raj has been highly successful in supply chain strategies in both the conventional and organic food industry.

Steve MacIntyre

Steve MacIntyre

VP of People & Culture

Steve MacIntyre has been with Fine Choice Foods since April 2021. Steve brings a strong background of HR experience in Food Manufacturing over the last 21 years with organizations such as JD Sweid Foods, Garden Protein International, and most recently as VP, People & Culture at Silver Hills. In addition to his extensive experience, Steve also serves as Board Chair with the BC Food & Beverage Association.

Scott Kondrat

D. Scott Kondrat has been with Fine Choice Foods since November 2018 and was formerly the Divisional Sales Lead at TreeHouse Foods Ltd where he led the sales team for the Condiments Division and was responsible for $1.2B in global sales. During his 8 years within TreeHouse Foods Scott held a variety of roles including Snr. Director Walmart North America, Snr Director Specialty Channel, and within Canada as a Director Sales with responsibility for the Retail ED Smith Brands. Prior to this Scott held positions with Olivieri, Maple Leaf Foods and Cargill Foods. Scott has a strong background in Category Management and has established and lead sales analytics departments utilizing a variety of point of sales data including IRI, Nielsen, and Retail Link.

Relief Machine Operator

As a member of the Fine Choice Foods Production team, the Relief Machine Operator will be skilled to work in all areas of production in order to provide coverage for absences and vacation. This candidate will demonstrate an ability to work in various environments and operate production machinery as needed.

Warehouse Associate – Shipper/Receiver

No. 6 Road

As a member of the Warehousing team, this employee plays a vital role in meeting warehouse shipping and receiving goals. The employee will manage all aspects of material handling and will report to the Warehouse Manager.

How it started
