Can I heat my spring rolls in the microwave?

Our spring rolls are best when crispy and therefore we do not recommend heating in the microwave. Please follow instructions for heating in an air fryer or oven.

There is something that looks like ground meat in the SUMM! Vegetable Spring Roll – What is it?

SUMM! Vegetable Spring Rolls use soy flour in the filling. Soy flour is a non-meat, soy based product that is similar to tofu and is sold in some grocery stores as a ground meat alternative. We use it along with our special blend of vegetables and spices to improve the texture of our filling.

Where are SUMM! products made?

Our products are proudly made in Canada using a combination of domestic and imported ingredients. While the majority of our ingredients such as flour, cabbage and meats, are sourced locally and within Canada, some spices and functional ingredients are not readily available locally. To ensure authentic flavours and product made of the highest quality, we carefully source these from trusted suppliers globally.

We are also happy to share that all of our manufacturing and packaging facilities are located in Richmond, BC, Canada. Our roots are here and some of our longest standing team members have been with us for over 20 years!

Are there any nuts in your products?

No, we do not have any products that have nuts in them. We are a nut free plant.

I have a food allergy – What allergens are in your food?

We take food safety very seriously and if you have food allergies or sensitivities, please read the labels thoroughly prior to eating. Many of our products contain soy, sesame, and wheat flour. Dairy products are also processed within our plant. If in doubt, we would be happy to personally answer any of your questions. We can be reached by email or phone.

How can I safely eat your products?

Always eat the product before the best before date on the package. When cooking, the product must reach an internal temperature of 165ºF or 74ºC.

Are the SUMM! Vegetable Spring Rolls considered Vegan?

SUMM! Vegetable Spring Rolls are not considered vegan because we cannot 100% guarantee that all of the ingredients that we use in our product is processed without the use of animal byproduct. While we would love to be able to label our product as vegan, our supply of certain materials is not always consistent and therefore the flexibility to use non vegan ingredients ensures that we are able to continue providing our delicious Vegetable Spring Rolls to you always!

Where do I find the heating instructions on the retail packages of product?

The heating instructions can be found on the reverse side of the front label. We have included some additional methods of heating our product and therefore required some more space!
