Miso Butter Corn Ribs

Sweet, savoury, and packed with umami flavour, these Miso Butter Corn Ribs are the ultimate summer side dish. Air-fried until perfectly tender and lightly charred, each bite is coated in a rich blend of butter, miso, and honey. Pair with your favourite SUMM! Spring Rolls for your next BBQ, picnic, or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of your favourite SUMM! Spring Rolls
  • 2 cobs of corn
  • 1 tbsp of salted butter
  • 1 tsp miso paste
  • 1 tsp of honey
  • 1 stalk of green onion
  • Furikake for garnish
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

 

  1. Air fry or bake your SUMM! Spring Rolls as directed. See instructions on inside of package.
  2. Cut each cob of corn in half, then carefully cut each half lengthwise into quarters to create corn ribs.
  3. Place the corn ribs in a large bowl.
  4. Arrange the corn ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket and sprinkle over a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  5. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the corn is tender and the edges begin to curl and char.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and toss with melted butter, honey, miso, and green onions.
  7. Garnish with a generous sprinkle of furikake.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

How to Cook the Spring Rolls:

Oven (video instructions)

  1.  Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place Spring Rolls on a baking pan in a single layer and heat in the oven for 18 minutes or until crispy, turning once.
  3. Remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve with SUMM! Plum sauce.

Air frying (video instructions)

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F (199°C).
  2. Place Spring Rolls into air fryer basket in a single layer and heat for 8-10 minutes or until crispy, shake or toss once during heating.
  3. Remove from air fryer and let stand for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve with SUMM! Plum sauce.
