  • Cook Time:

    8-10 minutes
Ingredients

  • 3 cups carrots, peeled and sliced on a bias
  • 1 tbsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Heat a wok or large pan over medium-high heat. Add a small splash of oil if needed.
  2. Add the sliced carrots and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes, allowing them to cook through and slightly char while still keeping a bit of crunch.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the soy sauce, and rice vinegar into the wok and toss to coat the carrots evenly.
  5. Continue cooking for 1–2 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly and glaze the carrots.
  6. Turn off the heat and add the butter, tossing until it melts and creates a glossy finish.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
